Image Stabilization

Postby dalelpaq » Mon Nov 14, 2011 6:22 am

I'm looking for some advice based on hands-on experience: I am seeking an image stabilization software package. I am experienced with After Effects and have used both its native tracking capability as well as Mocha for AE. Both have their place but don't meet all of my needs. The new warp stabilizer in CS5.5 is not available separately and Adobe requires me to upgrade my entire CS5 suite to get it (if you have the suite, you cannot upgrade pieces). I am considering Mercalli Pro v2, and the Foundry's AE Camera Tracker. The Camera Tracker would also enable 3D tracking for other purposes. Anyway - does anyone have direct experience with these or any other they can share? Dale
