Smart Mix

Postby Walter Seaton » Thu Nov 15, 2012 5:33 pm

I have just completed my first project using the mixer and smart mix with narration over background wild sound or music. I selected 25% as the required reduction for background; this turns out to be too much.

I have not rendered the project, just burned it onto a DVD to check the result. Is there any way in which I can change the 25% to something less (say the originally recommended 15% or other)?

You can set the level that Smart Mix reduces background audio in Edit/Preferences. However, changing this won't change what you've already done -- so you'll need to redo all of your Smart Mixes to apply the new settings.
