Specific to Premiere Elements Version 8.

I see multiple clips on the timeline. On the sceneline there is only one. I wondered if by burning it to a DVD as a movie, that is what changed it to a WMV? I will go back and start over in the slideshow editor and see if that makes a difference. Thanks.

Exporting will never change anything on the timeline, you can export from the slideshow creator as WMV and then import that into Premiere Elements. If you have an option to create a WMV to send to Premiere Elements don't use that option.

Considering you have multiple clips on the timeline I am wondering of the project is already Broken Apart?

Let us know what happens when you save the slideshow as a different name and send that to Premiere Elements ;)
