Great question, Charles!

Well, technically any version -- although the interface is most like versions 4, 7 and 8.

There is one chapter on Motion Tracking, which is a new feature in version 8. However, the rest of the tricks aren't version specific.

Glad to see there's so much enthusiasm for this book!

For what it's worth, I received a proof copy the other day and it's very nice! Now in a larger 7"x10" format (as all our future books will be) with big, bright color pages -- I'm thrilled with the results!

Thanks for playing. There's still time to enter.

Steve,

Sign me up for the contest.

PS - just finished PrE 7 book. I hope that you kept the Appendix (updated with Win7) for the PrE 8 book. That covers so very much, and I only hope that all readers of that (and later) books bothers to read that section. I was unaware of the detail that you go into. It would have saved me countless hours of typing. I'd just have said, "OK, get Steve's book, and read the Appendix, and all of your system problems will be solved." Well-done! Sorry it took me so long to get to that Appendix.

This book sounds like it will expand one's ability to do interesting things with PE. Please add me to the drawing.

Count me in. This is a must have for my collection of Grisetti/Engles books.

Just wanted to say thanks for The Muvipix.com Guide to Adobe Premiere Elements 7.
It has been awhile since I've worked on videos. Yesterday I promised a client a 6 hour turnaround for a memorial video.
Could not have finished it in time without re-reading page 59.
