Adorage

Postby Little Nac » Wed Sep 23, 2009 9:40 pm

Hi to All,
I am new to this Forum (1st Post), so please be gentle with me if I am in the wrong place.
I am using Premier Elements 7 and after viewing CEs Tutorial on Prodad, realized that I had Adorage in my collection.
The Adorage I have is Vol. 5 "Diamond Composits", and I am trying to get it to work in PE7, but with no luck. It installs OK, but does not appear in PE7. I even manually have copied the PRM file into Plugins, but still no go.
I am sure it is probably something simple, but I must be missing the point!!
Can anyone please help.
Thank you in advance.

Hi Little Nac, Welcome to Muvipix :meet:

I see that my email suggestion didn't work, sorry about that.
You posted in exactly the right place, but still no need to fear.
No one is ever cruel here, especially to new folks :)

If you placed the PRM file in the plugins/en_us folder and you still don't see the ProDAD category under effects in Premiere Elements then something is definitely not working right. You will have to restart Premiere Elements before you will see the change.

If I get some time I will play around with this later in the week.
In the mean time maybe someone else that has installed ProDAD plugins can give you a hand :TU:

Thanks Chuch,
I'm also still working on it, but I don't know what else to do.
No hurry, but thanks once again for the help.
Talk soon.

I just found a couple of other ProDAD plugins PRM files end up in the Plugins/Common folder, you can try putting it there.
Also if you have an AEX file that would go into one of those folder as well.

Sorry Chuck,
Tried that and still no good.
Virtually now out of tries.
Nothing seems to work.
Maybe it is for PE4 or 3, and won't work in PE7.
Anyway, thanks once again.
By the way, love the Forum.

I have all of my ProDad plug ins installed in all versions 3 - 7 and Premiere Pro.
They all work fine and are in either of the locations I have listed.

Are you sure you just aren't seeing the ProDAD category in the Effects?
Maybe your ProDad tool is an add on to another tool and won't work without some other part?

Maybe send an email to ProDad and ask them. They are very good at getting back to their customers.
