Blufftitler-missing some options

Postby Kerrie » Sat Dec 20, 2008 4:27 pm

I hope some of you who use Blufftitler can help me here. I finally am sitting down to learn this neat program. I am watching the tutorial and creating a title along with it. I realized I don't have these options: text scale, character scale or texture scale! I just downloaded the newest version and they are still missing.

Anyone have any suggestions why I don't have these options?

Thanks! ::c25::

Kerrie, the online User Guide has a good section on using the interface buttons here.
Make sure the text layer you want to edit is selected in the Layers Listbox.
At the left of that box you should see the drop down Properties Listbox.
In the Properties Listbox, highlight the property you want to change.
Use the sliders to make the changes, or you can type in the attributes.

Thanks Cinde, for some reason, it doesn't give me any scale options (I am on the right layer, the text). I have no idea, why I emailed Blufftitler, see if they have any ideas.

Thank you.

Thanks Cinde, that is who I emailed, so I have my fingers crossed he can help! Thanks for taking the time to help me....I finally have some time to play around with some video options that I haven't been able to explore yet.

Merry Christmas!

Kerri - I had the same question a few months ago. Mischiel replied to my email and said that those had all been renamed. I'm pretty sure that text scale is now text position (probably the 3rd slider), character scale is now character size, and texture scale is now texture size.

Thanks Dick, that was the problem. They renamed all the "scales" to "size". I appreciate your help and Cinde's. You were right Cinde, Micheal answers quickly too. He replied within a day.

Now, I can go back to learning! :)

Glad to help, Kerrie (sorry - I mispelled your name in the post). I see you have a Packers / Vikings rivalry in your house. I know all about that - all of my wife's family lives in Chippewa Falls, just up the hill from Leinie's. Nothing worse for a Vikings & Broncos fan like me than to have to spend a Sunday afternoon with a bunch of rowdy Packer fans.

Wow, Dick this world sometime seems so small. We aren't too far from the Leinie Lodge, about 10 minutes, on lake Wissota.
My husband is a Viking fan as well as a Bronco fan. He grew up in the cities and went to college in Boulder. He had season tickets for both teams. I have been fortunate enough to have Packer tickets in my family. Our son decided to root for the Vikings and my daughter went for Green Bay (but she would be much happier if the Packer colors were purple & gold rather than green & gold!) Every November when we have my son's family birthday party, it always seems to fall on the Packer/Viking game, which makes for quite the party. This last November was quite the game!

Thanks again for the help! I have been playing with Blufftitler a little more tonight. So much to learn!
