adjusting brightness changes position

Postby Peru » Sat Nov 15, 2008 9:41 am

When raising the brightness of a clip in the timeline of a four minute slide show (widescreen, about 30 images resized to 1000 pixels high x 2000 pixels wide at 72ppi {about a 1.8MB file} in Photoshop Elements 5), it changes the horizontal position in the motion path. :-s

I got around the problem by changing the brightness of the file and saving it under the same name, but why did it change the motion keyframe? :?:

Have you opened up the Properties panel timeline and watched the motion settings to see if they're actually changing when you adjust the brightness or if it's an "illusion"?

The properties values did not change in the properties panel, but even after rendering when viewing the video you can see the change!

I've also noticed that sometimes changing the size of the clip (say, from 80% to 160%) that the motion path will become altered, or will stutter.
