Postby MGadAllah » Sat Oct 16, 2010 10:01 am

I've realized that when I am posting new topics or posts here that smilies do not fits well and some of them are not a good looking too.

I've made some custom php smilies for my phpBB forum as follow:

Many Thanks, Everyone knows that I just love smilies !!

Ron will take a look at them and see what he can do to add them.
I agree that some of our smilies aren't all that great, we could definitely replace some.

When I start to work with smilies I've found the default package for phpBB is really not good.

I've collected all good looking php smilies from various places and made them into one package.

Then I've realized that it is really with different sizes so I've resized them to almost the same except the big ones.

Then added the abbreviations to be these we used to do and not anything else.

Then picked most famous ones to be in the posting page.

Then added them all into one package.

So all you need to do now is uploading the package to smilies folder and extract the .zip file.

Then choose to delete all the previous existing smilies then done.

You won't regret it at all.
