Is it possable for me to save a particular thread for future help?

You could Bookmark / Add to Favorites and name the thread appropriately.

Is that what you're talking about?

You can also copy and paste into Notepad, don't use Wordpad because it formats kind of funny. You would need to clean up the paste in Notepad a little but it would work if you wanted to keep them available all the time.

I think Ken Jarstad keeps a notebook of some kind.
