Downloaded Tutorials from muvipix

Postby fischettijw » Fri Apr 18, 2008 2:50 pm

I just subscribed to 'muvipix' today and already feel that the $49.95 yearly membership will be worth it.

I downloaded 3 tutorials to my computer to view without being connected to the muvipix site: Elements 8, Elements 9, and Elements 10. Elements 8 works perfect ... it displays nicely on my monitor and has a "VCR" type control at the very center bottom to PLAY, PAUSE, etc. When I view Elements 9 and Elements 10 they display correctly on the monitor but the "VCR" type control DOES NOT display ... I can't PAUSE the tutorial.

Is it something that I am doing wrong or is there a issue with the two tutorials (Elements 9 & 10)?

Have you extracted the zipped files? You could run into problems trying to open them from within the Zip file.

Oh, and welcome to our little community by the way!

Hi, the controls are probably just beyond your screen resolution. You can either increase your display resolution to something larger than 1024x768, or try maximizing the application window. It may distort a bit using your current resolution, but you'll then be able to see the controls.

Thanks for your membership, it truly helps support the site!
