OK, it must be a CSS issue. I am now more familiar with IE7. I don't like the Favorites displayed from the "star" on the left. Real intuitive - a star - representing Favorites! From the Tools menu I selected the Menu bar and now I can click on Favorites and see them displayed just like they were in IE6. I also had moved the Links to the very top in IE6 so that four or five of them would show all the time. When I upgraded the Links bar now appears just under the Menu bar and displays the first eight of them there - actually an improvement!
