Changing Members Area Password?

Postby nkummer » Tue Feb 20, 2007 8:25 am

Hi,
How do I change my password for the Members area from the default? I looked around but I cannot find the link to "change password".
Thanks,
Norm

Sorry Norm, guess I need to make that a little larger.

Directly after logging in, the option to change the password is at the far right, just below the header images.

Ron,
Ok I see it now and I successfully changed my password. It looks like this is the only time to change my password. I was looking for either a link once I was logged in or a ?profile? page. Any way, I only need to do this once so I am ok.

I noticed that you cannot take capital letters in your password. This is severe restriction in terms of password security, but then again this isn?t exactly a site that needs to have maximum security. I look after security on our product so I have some knowledge in this area. FYI, a secure password is one that has at least 8 characters, one must be a capital letter, and one must be a number. As well, four characters or more in a row cannot form a word. I am just in the habit of creating passwords like that since my work environment mandates them.
