Postby Steve Grisetti » Thu Oct 07, 2021 6:39 am

Adobe has released versions 2022 of Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements -- and we're excited to announce our new Muvipix Guides!

New features in Premiere Elements include:
* New project aspect ratios, including square and portrait project and sizes designed to fit specific social media sites.
* A new Auto Reframe tool for automatically resizing your videos to fit these new aspect ratios.
* New Guided Edits for creating animated mattes, overlays and video frames.

New features in Photoshop Elements include:
* New Moving Overlays for creating animated photos and tools for exporting them as MP4s.
* Artistic effects for stylizing photos with a single click.
* A Transform/Warp tool for reshaping graphics.
* New Guided Edits for cleaning up pet portraits and for extending the sizes of photos seamlessly with Content Aware Fill.

Both programs include cleaner, brighter interfaces. And you can see demos of all of the new features, a new Basic Training tutorial series and samplings from our books on our Muvipix Guides promo page:

By the way, I didn't pay Sidd to say that.

Thanks, Sidd! The book should be available on Amazon soon. And I'm pleased to see that my publisher has been able to cut the production costs enough that we can offer the book now at a much more affordable price!

I see the system requirements don't mention Windows 11.
Has anybody tried it on Windows 11?

Steve, I see that you've also put a slew of new PE 2022 and PrEl 2022 videos on your YouTube channel. Going to be interested in checking them out. You've been hard at work. ::CLAP:

The system requirements say:
Microsoft Windows 10 version 2004 or later (version 21H1 recommended); 64-bit versions only; Windows 7, Windows 8.1 not supported

I take that to mean that they should work on Win 11. I've also read that if an app/program works on Win 10 it will almost certainly work on Win 11.

The latest version of Premiere Pro CC installs on Windows 11, but doesn't run properly.

Well that's interesting. This is the first I've heard of compatibility issues on Win 11. Thanks for the heads-up.
