this is something I noticed when trying to get on the web site at work

when site opens on any of the computers in my section of work, you cannot see the "lets go" button unless you go into view and select full screen

I only mention this because if i hadn't logged on at home i never would
have thought to view full screen I may have just thought something was wrong with the site and thought maybe some potential members browsing might think the same thing .

just and fyi

That has to be a resolution issue. We built this site for optimum 1024x768.

Are your work computers running less than that?

The page with the 'Lets Go' button will go away soon anyway and you will go straight to the real main page http://www.muvipix.com/home.php

A collegue of mine at work also mentioned the same thing to me. In his case he removed one of his menu bars and was able to access the button.

We built this site with the following assumptions in mind :

  • Most computer monitors are running 1024x768 or higher. It's hard to say what the exact stats are, but the number is growing
  • The minimum resolution recommended for Premiere Elements (for example, and most video editors) is 1024x768
  • If you're looking for digital content to include in video presentations, you probably have a broadband connection (strongly recommended anyway - some of our downloads are upwards of 100MB)

Those computers you're referring to must be at a 640x480 resolution (we even took 800x600 into partial consideration). I'd have to say, structure-wise, this site would look awful at that resolution, not to mention extremely hard to navigate via scrolling everywhere.

I think the odds of anyone with a resolution of 640x480 looking for video help/resources is pretty minimal

Oh, PS - I put a auto redirect at that start page to automatically go to the home page after several seconds :)
