RSS Feeds

Postby dberthia » Fri Oct 12, 2007 10:18 am

Are there any RSS feeds available for the forums? More and more folks are using RSS readers now (I can't live without my Netvibes), and it would be handy if you provided feeds for the major topic areas (ex: Premiere Elements 4). Almost all forums nowadays provide this feature. Thanks!

From this thread viewtopic.php?p=7870#p7870
If you're using FF browser, the feed button is at the end of the address bar. In IE, it's in the "Command Bar".

I am going to make this a sticky somewhere :)
1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.

2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.

Thanks, Chuck. I'm usually used to seeing an "RSS" icon on forum pages- that's probably why I missed it.
The feeds work great.

It looks like there is only one feed for all the forums. Do you offer any forum-specific feeds, or am I missing something?

No, just the single feed. I will let Ron comment on the possibility of having separate feeds for each forum group.
I have added a sticky in the Announcements forum to cover this for the future.
There is also a feed for the comments on the Articles pages.
1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.

2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.

I will implement this feature within a day or 2. You'll be able to receive a feed for each individual forum.

Complete.

Simply select the forum (eg., PE Version 3) from the forum's start page and scroll to the bottom, the feed is located in the footer bar. Let me know how it works.

You can select your desired forum(s) here as well.

-Ron
