On new titles, the "text style" section is empty.

Specific to Premiere Elements Version 7.

On new titles, the "text style" section is empty.

Working along fine, doing edits, making titles, etc., and when attempting a new still title, it opened with the 60's Chic font, and the box that displays all the samples of various fonts was empty! The individual font selection will allow you to see and scroll the complete list, and they all seem to be there, but nothing in the "text style" selection window that shows the Aa type of samples.

I closed out, and opened a new blank project, and get same results. Also rebooted system - same thing.

In PRE online Help, it says "Note: You can restore the preset library by clicking the Reset button in the Style Properties section of the Properties view." Well, when I open properties on a title, the reset button is grayed out, but somehow I don't think that's what the Help is referring to. I'm lost. Any suggestions.

You may have a corrupt "temporary working set style" file.

Exit out of Premiere Elements, and then delete the files in the following folder, which in Windows XP would be named something like this:

C:\Documents and Settings\Don\My Documents\Adobe\Premiere Elements\7.0\Styles\

Then start Premiere Elements again. The temporary working set file will be rebuilt.
