Generic Text DVD Menu Template

Hi,
I'm having some "challenges" with the Generic Text DVD Menu Template.
I'm trying to add Scene Buttons via Photoshop (CS3) and got pretty close as it seems to work just fine in the Preview window with 25 Scenes. However, when I burn a DVD I run into problems.
First Issue...
I've gotten a few different error messages throughout the day with various burns ("Memory allocation error" and "Device error - Sense Code (3 57 00) Unable to recover Table-of-Contents"). After experimenting with the short test clip, it seems to be the additional scene buttons that I've added, 7 through 25. In other words, I can burn a disc with the Generic Text Menu, but ONLY when I have 6 or less scenes.
Since I'm not proficient at Photoshop I've been winging it, trying to gather as much info as I can, but I'm stuck.
Second Issue...
When I play the DVD on my set-top player, the "bullets/hilights" in front of the scene name, seem to ghost from adjacent scenes. For example, when I scroll down to, say, the 4th scene, the hilight from scenes 2 and 3 stay on.
Third Issue...
On the Main Menu, the Play and Scene Selections show their hilight all the time. It looks like someone has simply typed it onto the screen twice with the lower one (the hilight??) indented a few spaces.
I'm new to all of this and I really appreciate any insight you can offer.
Thanks,
- Mark
