Best place to buy?

Postby Michelle » Mon Oct 20, 2008 9:02 pm

Sorry if this has been asked... I tried searching and even skimming the titles but couldn't find a post on it already. I want to buy the bundle and, the economy being what it is, am looking for the best price. I've done a bit of searching and newegg seems the best here:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6832105386

I looked at the rebate form and that isn't listed as one of the inelegible places to buy it.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Michellle

I think you will find Amazon to be the best price overall
http://astore.amazon.com/chuckengelsco- ... B001DMBX7S

$135 and the $30 rebate is good at Amazon, $105 after all is said and done.
You can also get free shipping :)
1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.

2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.

Well, NewEgg starts at $119.99 so take the $30 rebate off that and it's down to $89.99 with free shipping. So far that seems like the best deal. At least of the places I'd be willing to do business. I'm sure there's some shady corners of the web that are cheaper.

Is NewEgg on the approved rebate list? I didnt' think that they were.
Adobe will not honor rebates from unapproved vendors, we went through this same thing last year.

Hmm... I read the rebate and it listed vendors that you _couldn't_ buy from. Didn't say which ones you could. I better do some more research first, I guess.

No Frys here, roadsideron, and I want the bundle, anyway. Thanks, though.

Thanks,

I just went to newegg.com. They are asking $139.99 not $119.99. Price after rebate is $109.99. Of course that is the Photoshop and Premiere Elements combo proce.

I just checked frys.com. Their price is not $59. Their prive is $79.99 after rebate, which means they are charging $99.99. And they do not even offer the combo package.

I'm with Chuck. Amazon.com offers the best price.

The $59 is the in store price. The online prices are usually higher. I paid $74 dollars a week ago from Amazon.com. I should have waited.

@JohnnyO - Oh, good catch! I didn't even realize I was looking at 6/4 not 7/7! Well, I guess then it's no better than Amazon.

Thanks,

Michelle
