Saving Edited Clip

Hi,
I am new to PE. I have edited a clip (from 1hr to 30 min) and am trying to save - sorry share - the edited avi file to my PC. However, when I open the new avi file, it is the original 1hr footage and not the 30min edited version. And I am selecting "Share WorkArea Bar only"!!! I have tried exporting and sharing - nothing seems to work. What am I doing wrong???

How did you edit the clip? If you are not getting the trimmed down version when you export then it seems as if you may be exporting the original from the media panel or you never really edited the clip to begin with. It's hard to tell exactly what is going on here, a little more detail about your project and what you are doing would help. If anyone can help you solve the problem Muvipix can.
