CS5.5 Production Premium for $449, no tax...

Postby George Tyndall » Sun May 15, 2011 12:57 pm

...now available on Amazon for students, teachers and other school employees. That's a savings of $1241 (74%).

Question: If one is a parent (I'm not), would the parent qualify to purchase the product in the child's name, the assumption being that the child and the parent would use the product collaboratively?

The parent could pay for the child's purchase, but the terms of the license restrict use to a single person: the one who qualifies for the educational edition. On-line purchases require submission of proof of eligibility in order to obtain the product key / serial number.

Hmmm.

Well, maybe I should proceed with the idea of taking a 1-semester, 1-hour course at my local community college, you know, to exercise the neurons a bit.
