I want to reinstall CSS5.5

I uninstalled CSS5.5 because of silly errors, and now I can't get "PremiereProTrial-5.5.2-mul-AdobeUpdate" to install. I thought I used this file last time. Where am I going wrong?

It might be better to just update from within Premiere Pro (by Help > Check for updates, I think. I"m not at my editing machine now.).

I have tried to download CSS5.5 from Adobe and 3rd-parties, but I end up with the CreativeCloud, which seems to indicate that I am getting a later version. So, how can I get my CSS5.5 back? I have lost my disk, though I do have my activation code.

The CreativeCloud isn't working either. I just need to get back to work with CSS5.5.

"PremiereProTrial-5.5.2-mul-AdobeUpdate" is an update patch. You need an installed version to apply it to.

If you go to the downloads page at Adobe, there is a link at the top to "other downloads", that will take you to a page where you can download the installers for older products.
