Importing images to a title slide

Postby Matthew Max » Wed Jun 18, 2014 8:52 am

I know somebody's needing a big squeeze and a sloppy kiss today. Who's it gonna be?

Why can't I bring just any image to a title slide? What are the restrictions on images?

Thanks!

Are you bringing them in as a "logo?"

My question is how to get them on a title slide. So any way to do that is what I'm interested in.

When you say, "title slide," do you mean "title?"
If so, did you try to add a logo?

Peru is correct. In titles, Logo is the same as Image. Right click or use the main Title menu option and select Logo>Insert Logo. I don't know of any restrictions. I usually resize the photo to fit. The Titler does not automatically scale photos to fit. But, you can manually scale it by right clicking and selecting transform>scale. If the photo isn't too big, you can select the image and drag the resizing handles on the image.

Sometimes lately I cannot even see the image. I'm bringing in big images. Where the heck are they hiding?

It's possible it's coming in at a position off screen. Try clicking on both the horizontal and vertical alignment buttons to center it. If it doesn't show up then, I'm not sure what's happening.

The titler is finicky. Close the program and reopen sometimes nudges it to work.
