avi rendering unstable

Postby Matthew Max » Fri Apr 04, 2014 2:03 pm

I'm having trouble today with avi.
I bring it into a project the way I normally do, where most of the footage is AVCHD, and today the avi is kind of jumpy. What are the possibilities for this? Or what questions do I need to ask myself?

I am not running effects on the avi.
The avi is an output of my son's AfterEffects, from another location.
The avi data rate is 28798 kbps as I received it from my son.
I am rendering mp4 videos at 1.2 kbps.

What are the specs of these AVIs? What codec are they rendered with?

If you can't tell from After Effects, you can open one of the AVIs in G Spot or Media Info. The important things are the resolution, frame rate and audio and video codecs.
