Applying key frames to any effect

Postby Matthew Max » Tue Feb 18, 2014 3:17 pm

I am having trouble understanding how to apply keyframing to effects besides motion. Would someone point me in the right direction, por favor? The info I read on this particular matter did not seem clear.

Muchas gracias.

If you can keyframe motion, you should be able to keyframe anything -- It all works the same way. The basic procedure is:

1) set the cti to where you want to start
2) In the effects control window, click on the stopwatch icon next to the property to turn on keyframing for that property. It will set a keyframe with the current value.
3) move the cti to the next location where you want a keyframe.
4) change the value of the property. It will set a keyframe with the new value.
5) repeat 3 and 4 as needed.

Is there anything specific that's giving you problems?

Nope, no specific problem, Bob. I mean, not now that I see how simple this is.
This is very exciting to me.

Man, I love being in the Muvipix community.
