moving objects on screen

Where do I begin learning how to move objects across the screen or even moving the view of a picture the way I do in Camtasia all the time? This is something I have avoided learning, because I do SO MANY other things with Pro already. I guess I'm interested in taking another big step. Is it difficult? Is this topic already fully covered on Muvipix?
