Lunch break, day one.

Prelude? I think the instructor said it exists in CS6, but I can't back up to be sure that's what he said.. A brief internet search would indicate same. I checked my programs. Not there. Ran a search on both programs and programs x86. Found two icons in x86 folder, one 16 pixels square, the other 32 pixels square. Is this something that has to be downloaded from Adobe, the way the library content has to be?

Shot 118 motion activated hummage (hummingbird footage) clips yesterday. Many only showed the feeder moving with the breeze. How nice it would be to zip through shots to see if it merits watching!

Getting close to the end of day 3.

I'm exhausted. I commend Larry Jordan on his stamina in addition to his teaching skills. I've learned many things that are exactly the problems I've been trying to figure out answers to.

Mom,

thanks so much for posting this!

You are very welcome. Now that you took the class I can ask you questions. :-D

Uh Oh! :conf: Test Time!!!

I think what surprised me most was when Mr. Jordan got to color corrections he didn't do visual color correction at all. He used scopes, the "vector scope" was one, I had no idea the program has and did his color correcting mathematically.

I was also surprised to learn there are white, black and saturation levels that are illegal. I was aware volume levels can be illegal, although considering how commercials blast out, you wouldn't think broadcasters were paying any attention to that. Anyway, he showed how to be sure all illegal levels were not being exceeded, in audio and video.

There will be a test next Friday. :hyst:

On a serious note, since you took the class there may be things you can help us with. I know bits & pieces of various programs so your memory bank may help to fill some gaps.

Those vector scopes are a little intimidating. I like the Fast Color Corrector to fiddle with the white balance.
