Pr6-Encore Dynamic Linking

After dynamically linking a project (proj.prproj) to Encore and adding menus etc and building it in Encore (proj.ncor) I found that I needed to do some minor text editing in the title. This I did in Pr6 and made sure the the project was saved.
Then I started Encore and opened proj.ncor and checked Yes when asked if I wanted to re-import. However, when next I previewed in Encore the text amendments were missing!
Does this mean that I cannot preview unless I build first??? Or am I missing some intermediate step?
