Part of the timeline turned gray.

Here is my situation:

1. Part of the timeline has turned gray.

2. The whatchamacallit that stretches across the timeline to include the whole story--well, it is no longer stretching all the way across.

How did I accomplish this problem?

What can I do about it?

Let me feel the love.

Hi Matthew,
There are a couple of tutorials about the Work Area Bar
http://muvipix.com/products.php?searchp ... =0&btn.y=0

They are for Premiere Elements but it is very similar in Premiere Pro.
1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.

2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.

Is it like the second screen shot here with the orange arrow?

http://www.premiumbeat.com/blog/3-and-4 ... miere-pro/

I do that frequently by accidentally hitting the "I" or "O" key at the wrong time.
