Mix still and crawl text in title

Postby thhult » Fri Sep 14, 2012 4:03 pm

Hi,
I work with a title with background video and a crawling text. But I also want another text to be static. Is it possible ?

You can create the static title in Photoshop with a transparent background, then lay that image over any title, even a rolling title. You will only need to adjust the position and scale of the static text.
1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.

2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.

You can't create static and crawling text within the same title. I'd create the still text as a separate title and place it on a video track above the title with the crawling text. What Chuck suggested will work too.

I was blocked to resolve it within the "Title".
Thank you both for your help.

I understand how that happens, ideas getting blocked like that. One of the best things about this community is the number of different options that they offer as solutions. There is almost never only one way to do something :)
