The old red-line/rendering issue

Postby Jayell » Mon Jun 04, 2012 1:35 pm

I haven't done any video editing for several months .. so seem to have forgotten everything I knew. :hid:
I'm recording video in hi-def (Canon HV40) .. but when I bring it into my hi-def sequence HDV 1080p30 (captured thru HDV split), I get a red line before I even start processing and the viewing is really slow and klunky. I've been working in this same project for about a year, and don't remember this ever being an issue before. I can't seem to remember what I'm doing wrong or what I might have accidentally changed. ](*,)

Video from tape-based HDV camcorders is 1440x1080i, Jayell. So that could be part of the problem.
