hyperlinking

Postby Matthew Max » Mon Mar 12, 2012 8:14 am

How do I hyperlink a URL in a Title Slide? (Or maybe that isn't the right question.
I want people to click a link during part of a video, and I have the URL on the video--IN a title slide in the video.

I'm not sure how you would be able to attach a hyper link to a title in an editing program, even Premiere Pro.
This is most likely possible with Adobe Flash, you can do lots of things in a Flash Movie.

Other than that I don't know how it would be able to work. The video file is just that, a video file, and has no HTML or other code embedded in it. Maybe someone else has an idea of how this might be done, I would surely be interested in hearing some suggestions :)

2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.

Windows Media has capability for commands, but I don't have Premiere Pro, so I can't say if that has the feature to embed commands. You might be able to use Windows Media Encoder 9 Series or one of the included tools to do it without the need for a video editor. If I recall, when playback of your video comes to a command with a link to a web page, it pops up the web page. There isn't a hyperlink to click. You would have to play the video back in Windows Media Player, and before doing that you need to go to the security tab under tools>options and enable the appropriate content option.
