Clean or clear cache ??

Postby demalibu » Thu Feb 16, 2012 7:37 pm

Hi,
Is their a difference between clean and clearing the cache?
My timeline is stuttering on playback when I add vision to a second and third video track, but is fine when I insert that vision into video 1 track?
Would clearing help ? I'm using PPro 5.03

There could be a few causes. Can you post a little more info? Video source and format, PC specs, free disc space.... :-D

Doesn't look like problems with computer resources. Can you post details of the video format, please, and also say which editing preset you are using?

It's a AVCHD 1080i project setting as I was cutting native AVCHD, but I have added some high-res MP4 files that were converted from XDCAM 's IMX50 codec. Could this be the problem?
