Why oh why does Photodex not make Mac versions of its products??

Hard to say. But now that Mac has started using the same hardware as the PC, it may make it easier to make the migration. In the short term, people are using either BootCamp, Parallels, or VMWare quite successfully. In this way you can have your ProShow and your Mac.

I love Boot Camp! With it I can have a Mac when I need a Mac, and a Windows 7 machine when I need a Windows 7 machine.

And, unlike Parallels and VMWare, Boot Camp lets you boot completely into either operating system rather than working within a shell -- so you get 100% of your hardware whichever OS you use!
