A Sardinian touristic attraction is the "Green little train", "Il Trenino verde", the ancient railway that slowly penetrates woods, overwatches lakes, stops in old villages' stations.
I create a slideshow with pics and sequences last september (I think the best are the ones shot after lunch ... woooowwww!) :-D

Beautiful area with the mountains, streams & old villages. How old are the villages? Here in the U.S. old is 200 years.

Yes, Cheryl, the villages are old (even in the U.S. meaning :-) ), the railways are "younger", less than one century old :-)
Mountain villages show a traditional way of welcoming, Sadali in particular have springs along the ancient roads... quite an emotion :-) ...
