Any Way to Remove an Annoying Startup?

Postby George Tyndall » Fri Nov 19, 2010 11:53 am

Every time I start my XP machine I get
AppleSyncNotifier.exe -- Unable to Locate Component -- This application has failed to start becaause Core Foundation.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

I've tried going back to multiple System Restore points, however, just as happened with the machine I'm using now (the Win7 machine in my signature), Windows System Restore has failed me.

Fortunately, Acronis TIH 11 works well with the XP machine.

How I wish TIH 2011 would work as well with the Win7 machine!

Click Start / Run / type "msconfig"
Go to the Startup Tab and then uncheck the box for AppleSync Notifier.exe

That will stop the program from launching at startup.

I have used 'Startup Manager' for Windows. It seems to be a keeper. http://startupmanager.org/
