new computer in the works DELL XPS

Postby hpharley90 » Tue Mar 09, 2021 6:26 am

Hello, I've got a new Dell being built. The plan is to use just Premiere Elements 2021 and Photoshop Elements 2021 and my DAW which is Acoustica Mixcraft 9 Studio Pro. Below are the specs. I know the new computer will run my DAW effortlessly so I'm asking if the Adobe software will run effortlessly also? once I have those software's installed and running good and computer stuff all updated I plan on disconnecting from internet.
I don't want the chance of getting any kind of virus, spam, malware etc. I don't need internet for DAW do I need it for Premiere Elements 2021?

This system lists a i7-10700 processor as its CPU, so it should run very well. That processor rates about a 17,000 in benchmark tests, which should easily give you enough power to edit even 4K with no problem.

Remember, with Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements, the most important specs are the CPU and RAM load. It appears you'll have 16 gig of RAM, which is pretty good. But make sure you can add more if you want to later.

While these programs don't depend heavily on your GPU, the latest version of Premiere Elements does use your graphics card's power to soft-render a number of video effects and transitions on the timeline. Your GTX 1650 graphics card is listed on Adobe's list of supported GPUs.

Yes you will. My understanding is that adobe validates in the background to make sure you copy is legit.
