Epson 835 printer & PS cc2020

When I printed in PS with W7pro and PS CS5 I could get to the printer's detailed settings for color, contrast, etc. panel from the PS print panel under "Printer's Settings".

With PS cc2020 the "Printer's Settings" takes me to the printer listed in Windows. The Advanced settings are paper size in Windows. How do I get to the Printer's full UI panel?

I'm not at my computer with PS CC on it now, but I wonder if it may be a setting in preferences to allow the printer to manage the color.

Screen shots of the UI printer panel via Windows 7 PS cs5 and no panel via Windows 10 PScc2020. The printer is not hooked up to the old build Windows 7 computer, but the panel stills will come up.
Usually I print with the printer controls the colors. Even if I go with PS controls the colors I still need to go to the printer UI panel and put in the preference. I did look around the PS preferences and did not see where I could change the printer preferences.

Just a guess: You may need to update the printer driver.
Which Epson 835?
Is it the Artisan 835?

I updated the driver and said up to date. When I went to Epson back when I hooked the printer to Windows 10 build I downloaded the driver and the Utility pack. The scanner UI panel works. I tried to print from Libre, open office, and going to print settings I get the Windows file tree and not the panel I had before. Looks like the panel is not there or not linking up to to any applications I'm trying to print from.

I sent a report to Epson about the problem. I wonder if the printer does not have that function in Windows 10? I've tried to go to device manager and printers via Windows and no panel under Advanced.

It is an Epson Artisan 835, but shows up as an 830 which I've seen those 2 model numbers together. Here is the Driver & Utility Pack Combo I downloaded:

It does seem like an Epson issue, unfortunately.

Hi Cheryl, I have a new Epson ET-7750 with the mega tank and have a very similar issue. What happens when you go to the Printers and Scanners in control panel? Can you open the dialog with the printing preferences there and see more options? I have options there but the "Apply" button is grayed out so I can't make changes. However, I can add a new preset, that may be all you need to do

Fixed!! The email from Epson:

"Thank you for contacting Epson regarding your Epson Artisan 835.

When installing the drivers and combo, make sure the USB is unplugged. Do not plug in the USB until prompted to during the installation.

Does the Artistan 835 show listed under your printers and devices or does it show as unspecified? Please provide a screenshot of what is showing in your printers and devices and the menu you are getting instead of the Printer Properties/Preferences."

I had the printer connected via the USB the first time I downloaded and installed the driver/combo pack.

I did an Uninstall on the Printer & Utilities.
Disconnected the printer USB port
Downloaded and reinstalled the driver & utility pack
Waited to plug in the USB port when prompted by the Install process. This was almost at the very end of the install.

The panel is now up when going to Printer Settings in PS & Libre Office.

Well the printer mysteriously is not connected anymore. Looks like I need to go thru the process of uninstall and reinstall again.

Uninstall reinstall and still showing in Windows 10 the device is not recognized, malfunction....
