Audio Headache

Postby BuddyB » Sun Nov 15, 2015 5:45 pm

I have screwed up the sound system some way or my card driver. I was fooling around the other day and downloaded several screen capture programs to try the streaming capture. Well..and doggone me..the audio has been giving me and echo. I have an icon on the Win page and it won't open for me to switch between mic and speakers. I suspect both are checked and that's why I'm getting the echo. Well I uninstalled, now having no audio with the exception of Windows sounds, not making a lot of sense to me. Well there are two instances of the Via AMD HD showing in Device Mgr in the sound section. There are several showing in Audio Outputs and Inputs. Any thought on this appreciated. Thanks.

It's been so long I'd forgotten about that possibility, thanks.

It cleared the issue of no audio or echoo, but I still can't open ViaHD to toggle between microphone and speakers. I may need to contact Via folks.
