Video Tutorials - Knoll Light FX and More

Postby Pro Juice TV » Mon Mar 30, 2009 4:48 pm

We've created a great new site with video tutorials covering everything to do with audio, video and multimedia. It adds to the wealth of knowledge out there with sites like Creative Cow and Video Co-Pilot. However, we are trying to include more audio production and film production techniques and tips!

There's some great techniques for FCP including how to use the Knoll Light FX Plug-In to spice up the stage lights of a music video set as well as creating breakbeats in your audio software. There's heaps more and heaps to come with new content being uploaded weekly.

You can check it all out at http://www.projuice.org

Pro Juice is a weekly presenter driven online portal and television series about music, video and multimedia for ‘guerrilla producers’ that want to make, distribute and market their media. An ever expanding demographic, ranging from industry professionals to the legions of creative types who dabble in all forms of digital media.

Making a Kung Fu Energy Ball

Postby Pro Juice TV » Mon May 11, 2009 3:56 am

In this new tutorial from Pro Juice, Nick takes you through the steps of creating an energy ball with the Particle Filter in Adobe After Effects.

Using a layer of smoke, blurs, colour correction and some masking techniques, Nick shows you how to create the energy ball, give it a burning hot spot, animate it to fly towards the camera and reflect off the nearby fence.

You can also download the sound effect (created by Arlo) used in the animation on the tutorial page to use in your own project.

Enjoy

Nick
