Even though we all come from different walks of life and each sees the world through a different set of eyes, it is pretty cool to be able to come to a place like Muvipix and share a love of video. From around the world and exotic locations in between, Muvipix gives me a place to literally touch the world.
If you ever saw that Tim Allen TV show called Home Improvement, I feel like I walk out to my virtual backyard fence and have a chat with my neighbor Wilson. Regardless of the conversation, I always walk away learning something I did not know and get a new appreciation for the other Muvipix Wilsons.
And because of the fence (virtual) that separates us I never get to see the whole person. Which is good as it keeps the mystique of Muvipix intact.
I have seen a snow storm in Milwaukee, a rain storm in Atlanta, the spring desert in Arizona, paint ball fights, four wheeling, sailing, birthday parties, living wills, vacations and trips from Europe and down under all in almost real-time WOW. And the best part is having someone watch something I have created as say "How did you do that?".
Thanks Muvipix.
Sidd

Excellent analogy. Couldn't agree more. This is what we strive for! If you think about it, though, it's all YOU guys that make it great. All we do is provide the meeting place.

"Home Improvement"... we used to watch the show when we lived in the US and also get the show here in the UK. One of my all time favorite TV shows. Just like Muvipx is my all time favorite forum.

My Muvipix friends are some of my favorite people in the world! Which either speaks very highly for Muvipix or means I need to get out more.

This is the friendliest place on the 'net. Speaking of "Home Improvement", my wife and I got a chance to watch a show being taped. It was a blast....And we got Tool Time T shirts and hats! A year or so before the show hit the air, we went to a Tim Allen "in the round" comedy show.....(don't remember the year though) I laughed pretty hard....He's an excellent stand up comedian.

Well said Sidd! And we got to see a video camera placed under water in your back yard pool and placed under your car to see the streets out west. Pretty cool stuff.
