I have to share this with ya'll... One of teachers is quitting to go back to get her Master's Degree...So I made her a video of her 2 years at Rise School.. I used some of the motion backgrounds in the DVD and they were blown away..They loved the snowy background I added on our snow day pictures...All I heard was Oh My God!!!!Where did you get this stuff..You have seen some of my work and it is getting better but you it is not that great...I am so amazed... They were laughing and crying thru the whole thing.. One of the staff also has a child there and she has purchased a copy and the yearbook...She told me from a parents perspective, this is going to be the best yearbook ever.. I was overwhelmed by the response..Two of the employees want me to do some things for them.. Today was our last day for 3 weeks... Yeah!!!!! I will probably spend most of it on the yearbook but we are trying to decide if we want to take the girls somewhere for a couple of days... I had to share this!!!!Thanks Muvipix!!! Donna

Donna, that is such great news!!! I am so happy for you. Give yourself more credit. You know your work is really good or you wouldn't be getting all the rave reviews and requests for your work. Most of us start out like gangbusters thinking that what we do is the best stuff in the world. Then we see the work of others and start second guessing our own work. We improve with each thing we learn to do, but always think we need that little something more to put us up a notch. (At least that's my mindset, I need to take my own advice, huh? ) I'm smiley happy today

You are more than a small part. I have gained so much knowledge from this site. It's amazing... Tuesday I video taped a production our 5 & 6 yr olds made up themselves.. I edited and added a few transistions and some muvipix music with the coming soon dvd logo on it and the kids loved it.. They had a "premiere" for the whole school and their parents... Remember only 4 of these kids are typically developing and the other 6 have Down Syndrome.. It is about the super heroes that rescue the princesses from the burning castle that the fire breathing dragon started.. In order for the dradon to be a prince he has to eat donuts.. They made a red carpet for the kids to enter on, dressed them in cool sunglasses, and decorated shirts, passed out pop corn and cheerios for snack and the show began.. I didn't have but about an hour to throw this thing together but it turned out really cute.. The parents loved it and it will probably make the yearbook. Maybe I will put it in the gallery.. It is a good laugh.. Another muvipix production... Thanks for all the great comments... You are the best Donna

Here's a link to the video I posted in the gallery.. Like I said, it was thrown together in about an hour.. I am going to work on it some as they want it in the yearbook. I wish I would have videoed the "premiere".. It was amazing. This teacher these kids have exposes them to the "arts". I think that is so good for these kids. It is so much fun to watch them make their projects for each event.. Do you think I might love these kiddos a little? I can never say enough about them.. Just watched your school video - very nice. I liked how the kids all work together as a team, and they seemed to want to make sure that everyone follows the script or plan. It was nice seeing the little guy handing out donuts towards the end. Robyn

Thanks Robyn... They made up the whole thing without the adults expressing their views.. They picked the characters they wanted to be and made sure even the non verbal kids had an important part.. They used their halloween costumes and dress up clothes we had at school...They practiced everyday and when I went to video it, they told me what they wanted....The first thing they asked for was the dvd logo like at the real movies.... Thanks again for all the kind words Donna

Donna, great job! Brought tears to my eyes because this is so special for the parents & children to have these lasting memories. Liked the music and the credits too. Also liked the DVD intro
