I bet Clayton would love it if anyone was using his new machine...

That would mean that it was actually up and running \:D/

Don't worry Clayton, it can be long now [-o<

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I thought it was going to be plug and play, but the more I read on the product forums and the compatibility problems and the solutions that I don't understand, I just may give it to Donna if she can get it running! ](*,)

Keep plugging away at it Clayton. As they say, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger... you are no doubt learning a lot of things on the path to getting it up and running.
I still think it is worth trying a new battery and re-seating the components, cables.

Thanks Paul, I do plan on disconnecting all the drives and trying that first (when I get a chance). :) I know you are probably wondering why I take so long to get to work on it, but the Boss of this house thinks mowing the yard, cleaning the flower beds, hanging pictures, and anything else she can find for me to do are faaaaaaaaaaar more important than working on that computer. :---) Although lately I have noticed her looking into the office with a decidedly disapproving scowl on her face at the condition of the room (she does not like things in disarray), so it may start moving up on her priorities (I mean mine). :-5

Sorry to interrupt the testimonial.

Clayton, better keep Donna away from your computer! No hammers! Don't worry, Chuck is on his way. Watch out, he charges mileage!
