I made some 1920 x 1080 stills while shooting in video mode, then at the end of the session i made some of the same model in the same lighting but in 1920 x 1080 still mode.
Although the former are slightly more grainy than the latter, the hue of the former is more appealing and also they look more like the video, which means they would look more natural if I should decide to insert some of them onto the video's timeline.
The video and the video-setting stills and the still-setting stills were all made at a shutter speed of 1/30.
I'm amazed by the HV30's ability to capture quality HD 1920 x 1080 stills at the same time one is recording a HD 1440 x 1080 video. Do all HD camcorders have that capability?
