That is correct. Tiger Direct took over the Web Operations and sold the Tech Support contracts (TAP) off to an insurance company. Now that nice Mac computer I bought my daughter that had the walk-in service provision, requires me to send them the battery and wait two weeks for it to come back. I am normally not an extended warranty guy, but with a notebook computer it seemed prudent. With the way Assurant is working, that was a wasted $500. Not happy, -Vernon

Just the other day I was sitting on my couch hoping for a way to pay my bills... I stuck my hand in between the cushions and found $0.42 in change! The gov'mint plan is working!

The HV40 hit $799 at Dell today so I bit the bullet and bought one, Up, Up and Away, into the world of full time HDV

Got a refurb HV30 and looking for a spare battery. Found this at B&H, but the specs do not include the HV30: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/3 ... Pack_.htmlThis one is not a Canon battery like the one above. The reviews say it is heavy and doesn't fit the HV20 slot. Will this fit the HV30 slot? http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/control ... eadReviewsPlease recommend a battery, at a total loss. Are the filters worth getting? Thanks.
