Yeah, some of those mods are really ambitious. Some of us have more time than money.
Incidently, the HV series also outputs full HD with a 4:2:2 colorspace from the HDMI jack. So, one guy I saw on the HV20 forum had figured out how to put a micro-ATX PC in a backpack so he could record full HD from his HV cam into a Blackmagic Intensity card!
