Where is that setting located, please? Ae you referring to the slider that enlarges the Timeline?

Wow George, I have to go look and see where this is in version 4, be right back....

Ok,
On the timeline, at the left side of each track, there is a film strip icon.
Clicking the film strip icon changes the track view display from; no thumbnails, thumbnails at beginning and end, thumbnails at beginning of clip only, All Thumbnails.

Then, if you click the >> at the top right coner of the timeline you can select Track Size; Small, Medium or Large, I like Large most of the time especially if I don't have too many tracks to work with. I almost never use the Small setting :-8

Thanks still once again for that. As I have yet to need more than 1 video and 1 audio track, the Large setting is perfect.

I come late to this thread having been away, but I just want to wind back to the postings on 'low light graininess'. When I have this problem on my videos I use the Neat Video plug-in to smooth out some of the graininess. It is a really useful add on. Info here:-

Does this work for PE 4.0 only? Or do you need After Effects? I followed the link and only saw After Effects mentioned, in the quick look I had.

Neat Video has different plugins for different applications including one for Premiere (which also works in Premiere Elements).
