Hello all, I hope this isn't too silly of a question, but I'm wondering if there are any tutorials on the Internet that have to specifically do with the Canon HV20? (and if I can dream...how it works with PE4)? Or am I just dreaming?? Thanks for any help! Ted

I had a look around YouTube but couldn't find anything much. I know a few folks on the Forum have the camcorder so if you post any questions you should get some responses.

Check on www.hv20.com - either by looking around the site or posting a question there. I haven't spent a lot of time there since I got my HV30, but I have gotten some good stuff from them. Bob

Got to http://www.jumpstartguides.com, which lists the HV20 as one of the units covered. The DVD that I received with my Canon HV30 proposed learning the unit in "about 80 minutes." I posted the details on June 4.

That looks pretty useful, George...thanks! However, I'm not seeing a purchase price of "Add to Cart" button, etc? Am I missing something?

Hi Ted, This is the best price I found on it (looks like the manufacturer doesn't sell directly) - with free shipping: http://www.abesofmaine.com/item.do?item=JSCHV20Let me know what you think if you decide to get it. The user's guide that comes with the camera seems to be a paperweight to me... Jennifer

Hi Jennifer!
Thanks so much for the useful link...
And I agree...the manual often has me dumbfounded with the way they describe things!

I find that a lot of manuals are the same. They tend to be written by someone close to the product so can be very vague or tacitly assume user knowledge that doesn't exist. The best manuals (IMHO) are those written by people who are able to assume unfamiliarity with the product that they are writing about, a rare art.
