Cheap Price for Canon HV30

Has anyone ordered from this place. The price is half of what it is on most other sites. Kind of makes me nervous. How can they be that much cheaper?

When you order they will send you an email telling you they are out of stock and try to sell you a different camera.
It is the old bait and switch game. Where is that site that lists all of the sites with bad reputations?

Sorry, Karen - that looks like a bum deal.

But all I can tell you, as a HV30 owner, is that it is really a nice piece of equipment and worth the $770-$800 price that seems fairly standard now. I got mine from B&H when the price was briefly $770, but they are up on the higher end of that scale now.

You can check reviews of internet retailers here as well http://www.resellerratings.com. There are a lot of scams and shady operators out there... it's best to stick with a well-known outlet.

These are some of my personal favorite internet electronics retailers based on good prices and solid customer service:

http://www.newegg.com (they had the HV30 for $699 as a one-day deal last week!)
http://www.dell.com (although they are usually the most expensive for camera gear)
