Asking for a recommendation, which camera to buy for YouTube

Postby MGadAllah » Sat Dec 10, 2022 4:44 am

Hi,
Please, I do not want to spend a penny on any features I will not use.
I am not after any fancy things.
Just only recording videos for YouTube.
The camera will be placed in a fixed place.
Just filming myself.
The frame will include only me setting at my desk, but the desk will not be included in the frame.
The space is limited and small.
So which camera do I need to buy?
Thanks
Just learning!

I think you already own the answer to your question - your smartphone. Get an inexpensive desk phone holder and play with your lighting to get the best results.
Be yourself; everyone else is taken.

Smartphones are a great option. The key to getting the best out of them is to make sure they have good lighting. You might also consider getting the Filmic Pro app for the phone. It lets you adjust a lot of the smartphones parameters.
