I don't know anything about skatronic.com, so I can't say.

I usually stick to the major retailers like Amazon.com and B&H Photo. This camcorder is available from B&H, although for a bit more than skatronic is asking for it.

oh my god
I think they are scam for sure as they offering it for $679 while B&H says $2000. :(
I've check various listed products at their websites and they are offering a very low price compared to major re seller even used items in ebay is not that cheap.

There are a lot of threads on forums about them. All seem to advise staying away from them.

I personally don't care for the webcam look. The lens on a webcam tends to be wide angle and designed to be used at monitor to person distance. That's going to result in some geometric distortion. It may be OK, but that's your call. But look at some of the C90 reviews on Youtube to get a feel for what it will look like before you buy. Here's one. Especially watch the portion beginning about 1:40 where the actual video and audio from the webcam is shown. As you can see, the audio is terrible. You will definitely want to get a good usb condenser microphone if you want to use this webcam.

It is really a very good webcam and too many positive reviews about it. I've also found a guy using two cameras with one application and transfer from one to another during recording.
I will buy a one no doubt.,
